This time of year, gratitude and generosity inspires us to find ways to give back to worthy causes throughout the area. There are so many organizations to choose from that help share goodness! From food drives, to a local hospice that supports incredible children and families, to coat drives to keep families warm, this month offers numerous opportunities to lend a helping hand and spread kindness within our community. Here are some wonderful ways to give back!
FOODBANK OF SE VIRGINIA AND EASTERN SHORE
Since 1981, the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore has proudly provided more than 380 million meals to our neighbors in need. They collect, store, and distribute food to our neighbors by working hand in hand with other providers as well as directly. At the same time they also work to address the root causes of hunger and food insecurity. Here are some ways to help!

- Make a Monetary Donation: It is amazing that even with a $10 donation, the Foodbank is able to purchase up to $60 worth of food to those in need!
- Donate Food: The Foodbank makes it easy to know what would help them most currently with a list of Most Needed Items on their website for you to view!
